GSE was established in 2021 for Crane tests and inspections in Jordan. Then the activities were expanded to cover various types of lifting equipment.
The Technical Manager at GSE, Eng. Amer Mousa spent 5 years working in Qatar at the biggest LNG plant construction project in 2005 with one of the biggest O&G contractors in the Gulf area (CCC). There he learned about the importance of third-party inspection and the proper way of doing it through his scope of work. Amer Mousa returned back to Jordan in 2010 where he got a team card from LEEA and became an authorized inspector of overhead cranes from the Crane Institute of America in 2018.
GSE was started upon a futuristic decision from Mr. Yousef Mousa to separate the crane rental business from the inspection services. Therefore, Eng. Amer Mousa is managing the new company and works hard to accomplish all the requirements. GSE became an approved ISO 9001 and ISO 17020 company operating in all areas within the borders of the Hashemite Kingdom of JORDAN.
GSE is an inspection body for all types of cranes and tower cranes in Jordan and is registered with the Ministry of Industry and Trade. We are a full member of LEEA (the Lifting Equipment Engineer Association - UK) and Crane Institute of America. We issue our certificates in accordance with BS and OSHA Regulations.
GSE exceeds other Inspection companies by having its own testing area and certified test loads. Also for the training of operators on cranes, forklifts, and man lifts the company can offer its sister company equipment (YMCC)
for training purposes. GSE shares the training facility at the company's new headquarters with the YMCC training center. The Training classroom can accommodate up to 16 students and it is furnished with top-quality tools to assist in the training. Training materials and examples of defective tools are there to explain visually what damage can happen to the lifting accessories. The training center features a big kitchen where food and beverages are served to the trainees during training sessions.
Coffee, tea, and crackers are available during the training for all trainees during coffee breaks and the smoking area. Outside the training center is a big yard where the trainees can have practical training on cranes and lifting procedures.
